Visit the USSR
These beautiful pics are from a brochure for the USSR from the 1958 World's Fair in Belgium.
Somehow I doubt the Soviet Union would have been anywhere near as glamorous as it was portrayed in this brochure.
Then again when have travel brochures ever been 100% accurate?

The plan you posted looks a lot like the VVC exhibition centre (also known as VDNH) in Moscow. And if it is, it's the most amazing place on earth. All these cool gothamesque pavilions. It's indescribable.

I love Soviet propoganda. Would love to get some prints of these - where did you find them?
Someone sent them to me in an email Matt. No idea where they originally came from or I would have linked to the source.
In Russia we have this kind of places and even more nicer. No doubt )
